*** Sorry if this is a repost , but my mail messed up & I don't think
it went out the first time ***

I've just got back from my visit to London , to see Robert Forster
at The Garage. It goes without saying that it was a fantastic concert
with the Great Man on top form. He mentioned the release of his single
'in the next week or so' called 'Crying Love' and the album in July
called 'Warm Nights. And yes he was wearing that yellow suit. The set
  list was as follows :-

I can do (not sure if this is the title ?)
    Warm Nights
    Lonliness
    Baby Stones
    Rock and Roll Friend
    Crying Love
    3AM
    The Circle
Slow Down (again not sure of this )
    Fortress
    Snakeskin Lady
    Heart Out To Tender
    2541
People Say (played without the band)
??? Final song was unknown to me ???

And best of all , I took a Minidisc recorder with me and recorded the
whole show. In my opinion , the quality is excellent and if anybody
wants a copy , they can drop me a line and I can do a direct recording
from the mini disc master to cassette tape. Cost will depend on postage
and the tape quality that you want.
By the way , was anybody else on the list at the concert ?? I'm dying
to know who the 2nd support act were. NUT came on first , but I haven't
got a clue who was next - the Guitarist did say at one stage , but I
couldn't make it out !! ** I've discovered since that it was JUNE **

  Simon

'Never dim the lights when I'm on stage..
Cos the people have to see me'
                                                       RF 7th June 1996

My network connection is down due to a lightning strike right
about the time Robert was playing, so Simon beat me to the
review, but that last song was "Venus de Milo" from the first
Television album. A nice surprise.

Those new songs sounded great, can't wait for the album.

"Cryin' Love" worth hearing just to hear Robert sing "he
can't be as handsome as me" followed by Glen & Adele shouting
"impossible !" I'm off shopping tonight, to see if the single
is out yet.

Jonathan.
